Event is a parent drop-off event and teens are expected to stay for the duration of the event. Pizza will be provided. All teens must have a permission slip signed in order to stay at the event.
WELCOME TO IGNITE!Ignite is Sacred Heart's Youth Ministry which meets on Sundays after 12PM mass until 3PM for High School teens and on Wednesdays at 7:15-8:00PM for 7th & 8th grade youth!
Mission StatementOur Mission is to IGNITE a desire for relationship with Jesus Christ in the hearts of our teens, which grows and develops into a personal faith relationship with Him and a desire to be a disciple FOR Him! Just as Christ did on the Road to Emmaus with His Disciples, through prayer, fellowship, and discipleship teens will journey together with the goal that they will be:
1) Living as Disciples of Jesus Christ in the world today
2) Participating in the Life, Mission, and Work of the Catholic faith community
3) Being fostered toward total personal and spiritual growth

On Sundays (high school) and Wednesdays (Jr. High) we will meet in the Youth Hall upstairs in the Pastoral Center to spend time in fellowship and learn about the purpose God created us for through activities, talks, and application (real, tangible ways to apply what we've learned, ie. prayer, small groups, etc.)
