Gabriel Project

The Gabriel Project is a confidential and compassionate ministry to women who are distressed over an unplanned or crisis pregnancy. A trained "Gabriel Angel" from the parish supports the woman's choice for life through friendship, encouragement, and prayer throughout her pregnancy. In addition to providing emotional and spiritual support, the "Gabriel Angel" helps the expectant mom with various practical needs, including material items or connections to local resources for assistance.
- Pastoral – the Church responding to the mom's needs emotional, spiritual, and material
- Educational - the Church proclaims the dignity of all life, especially unborn life, through witness and actions
- Evangelical -- the Church loving and caring for those inside & outside the faith community so they may experience Christ’s love
Gabriel Project Mission:
The Gabriel Project Ministry values the dignity of every human life by providing emotional, material, educational, and spiritual support for pregnant women and families in need. This is done in a spirit of mentorship, advocacy, resource aid, and Christian friendship.
The Goals of the Gabriel Project:
• Offer hope and support to pregnant women and families in need.
• Provide assistance and resources to aid families on their path out of poverty.
• Share Christ’s love and call to service of others with an emphasis on respect and reverence for all human life.
CRISIS PREGNANCY
The Gabriel Project works with families from pregnancy until their child is 12 months old. Each client will be paired with an Angel, who will walk with them through pregnancy and beyond. We provide spiritual and emotional support, help mothers and fathers find resources, and encourage families to seek services that help them achieve their long-term goals.
